Sir Timothy Berners-Lee is arguably one of the most important figures in computer science engineers of all time. He was born in London, England on June 8, 1955. Timothy's contribution to computer science was the world wide web itself. He helped invent the world wide web in 1989, He also created the first web browser. Without him we might not be able to access all this information and have the global connectivity that we do today. The reason he is known as 'Sir' Timothy-Berners Lee is because he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his accomplishments in the computer science field.
